GET INVOLVED TODAY:

Why Volunteer?

How do I join?

In the United States 7 out of 10 firefighters are volunteers that give their time to protect their communities. We do this out of a sense of duty to the community we live in, a desire to help others even if it means putting our own lives at risk, and the satisfaction that comes from knowing that you have made a difference in the lives of others in your community. We are always looking for new members that want to learn and be a part of our fire department family. There is a place for everyone on the fire department, and you won't regret being part of something bigger than yourself!

Getting involved with the fire department is as simple as filling out an application and showing up to our weekly meeting nights. We hold meetings every week on Thursdays at 6:00 P.M., and you are more than welcome to join us and see what the fire service is all about. Once you have completed an application and attended five meetings or trainings, your membership will be up for a vote from our members.

Junior Firefighters

It's never too early to get started volunteering with the fire department, and our Junior Firefighter program is proof of this. Junior Firefighters train and learn all the skills necessary to step into a role as a firefighter once they turn 18. The Junior Firefighter program is a great way for kids to learn valuable skills, be involved in their community, and make lifelong friends and family in the fire service. For more information on our Junior Firefighter program, stop by the fire station during our weekly meetings, held every Thursday at 6:00 P.M.
